BOWLING GREEN, KY – HIT-AND-RUN WITH INJURIES REPORTED ON NASHVILLE RD NEAR LOST WOODS AVE
Bowling Green, KY (May 15, 2022) – A motor vehicle wreck that took place in the Bowling Green area left a female pedestrian hurt. At around 5:40 p.m., on May 14, the Bowling Green Police Department, Fire Department, and EMS were all dispatched to an auto accident on Nashville Road.
Reports from authorities show that a white Camaro was traveling in the area of Nashville Road and Lost Woods Avenue during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, the vehicle struck a female pedestrian.
The vehicle then fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
The pedestrian sustained injuries as a result of the accident. She was rushed to a local hospital for medical care.
Police were able to track down the vehicle and took the driver into custody.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
