Bowling Green, KY (August 21, 2022) - An auto collision reported in the Bowling Green area on Saturday evening resulted in injuries and severe delays throughout the area. Just before 7:30 p.m., on August 20, officers with the Bowling Green Police Department and area firefighters were notified that a motor vehicle crash had occurred on Interstate 65.
Preliminary investigations show that multiple vehicles collided on Interstate 65 in the area between Horse Cave and Bonnieville. The crash blocked both the north and southbound sides of the interstate.
Emergency medical services responded to the crash site to provide aid to victims who suffered injuries as a result of this collision. An unknown number of people were then transported to area hospitals, where they underwent further treatment for their injuries.
The Bowling Green Police Department is initiating an investigation into the crash at this time.
