Hopkinsville, KY – Man & Woman Injured in Auto Accident on Pennyrile Parkway Near Russellville Rd Exit
Hopkinsville, KY (August 30, 2022) – A man and a woman were both left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the Hopkinsville area on Monday afternoon. Reports provided by the Christian County Sheriff’s Department show that just before 2 p.m., on August 29, calls for assistance came in surrounding a collision that occurred on Pennyrile Parkway.
Preliminary reports verify that a blue SUV was traveling southbound on Pennyrile Parkway when the vehicle hydroplaned and struck a northbound car near the exit for Russellville Road.
A man and a woman involved in the accident both suffered injuries. The two victims were provided medical care at the scene by responding medical personnel. Both patients were then transported to Jennie Stuart Health for further treatment of their injuries.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the accident at this time.
